Today marks the national release of Public Display of Affection: The Sound of Independent Radio, a new compilation from Nettwerk Records (home of The Divine Comedy, Ron Sexsmith and Sarah McLachlan, among others). Program directors from four the most influential independent public radio stations in the U.S. were each invited to nominate three artists for this collection, and guess who Rita Houston of Fordham University’s WFUV picked? You guessed it—“Demon Of Love” by The Sharp Things is among the chosen few.
Early reviews of TST’s contribution are positive (naturally), with All Music Guide noting its “gorgeous orchestral pop flourishes” and Spectre Music extolling the song’s “memorable late night martini vibes.”
Public Display of Affection is on sale everywhere, and we encourage you to get a copy; search Froogle for the best deals online!
