OHHHHHHHHH-KLAHOMA!

14 November 2005 by The Sharp Things

Thanks to George Lang, who in an article for The Oklahoman declares: “I have seen the future of rock ‘n’ roll, and its name is The Sharp Things…New York City’s The Sharp Things create lush, string-laden soul music with touches of Barry White meshed with Belle and Sebastian and The Divine Comedy. “She Left With the Sun,” from the band’s second CD, “Foxes and Hounds,’ is as warm and soulful as the title implies.” Nice!
While we’re at it, thanks also to Scott Register of WRAX-FM in Birmingham, Alabama; Mark Curdo of WCYY-FM in Portland, Oregon; and Bill Hanson of Central Pennsylvania’s WQXA-FM for playing our music on their radio shows.
