SHARPS CROSS THE POND

We promised bIg news, and here it comes: Here Comes The Sharp Things will be released next month in England! Our label, Dive Records, has reached an agreement with London-based Setanta Records to distribute the Sharp Things’ first CD throughout the United Kingdom, as well as in Ireland.
We’re very excited to be associated with Setanta, a long-established and well-respected UK indie whose roster includes Evan Dando, Edwyn Collins, The Divine Comedy and our Toronto pals Stars.
Bad Moon Publicity (whose clients include Foo Fighters and Travis), is busy stirring up interest in the UK press and they’ve already had some bites, so look for more reviews in the weeks to come. The Sharps have also retained a booking agent, London-based Knom, who’s organizing a series of shows this spring in support of the release. More on that to come as well. Brilliant!

DIGITAL THINGS: Those of you who have yet to purchase Here Comes The Sharp Things (hard to belive but we know you’re out there) now have a new option: digital downloads of single songs! Thanks to the fine folks at The Orchard, all the songs on Here Comes The Sharp Things are now available for individual purchase from dozens of digital music service providers worldwide, including iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, BuyMusic and many more (here’s a complete list).
