"Life Sucks" for The Sharp Things @ Delancey tomorrow!

24 August 2006

From emerging screenwriter/director Faythallegra Coleman and producer Steve Gray, comes “Life Sucks,” a gripping short film about life and death choices.

The film co-stars Tom Corbisiero, friend of TST bassist Rich Holst, who did lights for our holiday spectacular show at the Brooklyn Lyceum last December. (That’s Tom with the gun, below.)

Tomorrow night, August 25, we will be having a fundraiser for the film at The Delancey, 168 Delancey St, New York, NY. Please come and support this event! It will be a night of music, dancing and celebration to raise funds for this amazing film.

Cover $10. 7-11:30pm. Live music performances by: Tavi Fields, RebelTec, Sitali, Too Real Talkaz, The Sharp Things. Laughs from comedian Miss Kissy. Shaka King will spinning an eclectic blend of various music. Everyone invited – open to the public.

The Sharp Things will be performing this evening as a septet, sans drums. Our showtime is 10:20 p.m.

Even if you can’t attend you can still help out! Send all donations to:
