In a bid to recharge our batteries, focus on recording new songs and relocate the fun that we’re sure we left around here somewhere, The Sharp Things are taking an indefinite break from live performance.
Fans have one last chance to experience the magic that is The Sharp Things with their current 11-member line-up. And what a chance it is!
This Thursday, March 20, at 8 pm, The Sharp Things take the stage at The Zipper Factory Theater for a 90-minute, career-spanning extravaganza featuring some of NYC’s best vocalists performing their favorite Sharp Things songs!
Billed as “The Sharp Things Tribute to The Sharp Things,” this extraordinary show will feature vocal cameos by Franz Nicolay, David Driver, Kendall Meade, Dave Derby, Chris Lee and many more.

And of course, the fearless Perry Serpa will warble more than a few of the tunes from our three critically acclaimed LPs: Here Comes The Sharp Things (Dive, 2003), Foxes & Hounds (Bar/None, 2005) and A Moveable Feast (Bar/None, 2007).
Violinist extraordinaire Claudia Chopek and red-hot trumpeter Mike Irwin will also join The Sharp Things for an evening not to be missed.
