the sharp things to perform at bar/none records 20th anniversary party!

We are very pleased and proud to be invited to perform at the Bar/None Records Twentieth Anniversary Party on Saturday, November 11. at Supreme Trading, an awesome new space at 213 N 8th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Conceived and developed by a group of architects, installation professionals, craftsmen and artists, Supreme Trading is a 7,500 square foot collection of spaces featuring various cultural events revolving around the focus of art and design.

According to organizer Grace Park, this event “will celebrate Bar/None Records operating for 20 years and everyone, everything, and every person that it touched. It will be a party and showcase a medley of Bar/None performers past, present, and future.”

No word yet on who else will perform, but with a current roster that includes Architecture In Helsinki, Oppenheimer, BurnSide Project, El Ten Eleven, Spinto Band, Hotel Lights and Mosquitos (not mention yours truly), plus a vast and venerable group of alumni (foremost among them Bar/None’s first signing: They Might Be Giants), you can bet it will be a hell of a show.

By the way, we still have a few copies left of the Bar/None Anniversary Sampler CD — act now before they’re all gone and there ain’t no more!
