How to make a "Moveable Feast"

15 July 2007 by The Sharp Things

We wrapped up our West Coast jaunt with a “hang” for friends in the swank lounge of the The Standard Hollywood Hotel, where we were treated to our very own cocktail, the “Moveable Feast”!

The following unofficial recipe is provided by our bass-playing mixologist Rich Holst:

“I should probably make this first and see, but I believe I’ve reverse-engineered it from memory pretty well,” said Rich. “I did see it being made er, um… more than once.”

1 1/2 oz Stoli Blueberri
2 oz pink lemonade (get something good – it’s a feast!)
1/2 oz Triple Sec

Mix and pour over ice in a highball glass.
Top with a generous splash of Chambourd

“I’d garnish with an orange but Alex (our under-enthused Hollywood bartender) opted for no garnish.”

  1. For a true “moveable feast” I’d instead suggest potato vodka and prune juice. Garnish with a Slim Jim.
